This tour will take you to Masai Mara which is probably the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya and Serengeti National Park which is Tanzania’s largest and most famous national park. It borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park and not forgetting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area which is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main draw card for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. With a finish of Lake Manyara National Park.

Itinerary

Day 1
Nairobi - Masai Mara
You will be met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with your private 4 x 4 and guide. Nairobi, city, capital of Kenya, in Nairobi District, situated at an elevation of about 1660 m (about 5450 ft) in the highlands of the southern part of the country. Nairobi is Kenya's principal economic, administrative, and cultural center and is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Africa. The city also has a large tourist industry. Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. The Reserve is administered by the local county council. It is probably the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya. It offers breathtaking views (seen in the film ‘Out of Africa’, much of which was filmed here)an extraordinary density of animals including the “Big Five” and many varieties of plains game. Arrive in time for your hot lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. After lunch your guide will pick you up for your evening game drive at Mara National Reserve. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 2
Masai Mara
Full day of game viewing at Masai Mara National Reserve. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 3
Masai Mara - Serengeti
Depart after your early morning breakfast for Serengeti via Sirare/Isebania border, this will include normal border crossing formalities. Serengeti National Park is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometers of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve. Its far-reaching plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted shadows of acacia trees, have made it the quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. Its large stone kopjes are home to rich ecosystems, and the sheer magnitude and scale of life that the plains support is staggering. Enjoy your enroute game drive at Serengeti National Park. Day 4
Serengeti
Enjoy your early morning and late evening game drive at Serengeti National Reserve you can ask your guide to take you for a full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Mbalageti Luxury Camp.
Day 5
Serengeti - Ngorongoro
Depart after your morning breakfast with your picnic lunch boxes via the Olduvai gorge where it is believed the cradle of man kind began. There after transferred to Ngorongoro Crater which is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main draw card for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. Within the crater rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Just outside the crater’s ridge, tall Masaai herd their cattle and goats over green pastures through the highland slopes, living alongside the wildlife as they have for centuries. You will be transferred to your lodge. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Day 6
Ngorongoro - Lake Manyara
Descend to the rim of the crater for your half day of game viewing. Depart after your game for Lake Manyara National Park. Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views. Located on the way to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, Lake Manyara National Park is well worth a stop in its own right. Its ground water forests, bush plains, baobob strewn cliffs, and algae-streaked hot springs offer incredible ecological variety in a small area, rich in wildlife and incredible numbers of birds. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.
Day 7
Lake Manyara - Nairobi
Enjoy your early morning game drive at Lake Manyara National Park. Transfer after your game drive for Arusha where you will have some time to purchase souvenirs to arrive Nairobi late evening via Namanga border. Overnight at Fairview Hotel. Dinner at leisure not included in the tour price.
Day 8
Nairobi
Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by your guide for your flight back home.
