13 Days Tanzania Game and Exotic Zanzibar combines best of Tanzania parks and the beach. After an eight day of bush and game you will go by flight to Zanzibar to relax on the beach. Zanzibar is still the best-kept secret in the Indian Ocean, with its fascinating historical Stone Town and magnificent beaches.

Itinerary

Day 1

Kilimanjaro - Arusha

You will be met upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to Arusha Naaz Hotel. Dinner at Leisure not included in the tour price. Overnight at the New Arusha Hotel or similar.

Day 2

Arusha - Lake Manyara

Depart after your morning breakfast for Lake Manyara. Arrive in time for lunch at your Manyara Lodge. Enjoy your afternoon game drive at Lake Manyara National Park. Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views. Located on the way to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, Lake Manyara National Park is well worth a stop in its own right. Its ground water forests, bush plains, baobab strewn cliffs, and algae-streaked hot springs offer incredible ecological variety in a small area, rich in wildlife and incredible numbers of birds. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 3

Lake Manyara - Serengeti

Depart after your morning breakfast for Serengeti National Park. Game-viewing from the breakfast terrace can be superb. Additionally there is good resident game throughout the year, especially zebras, wildebeest, impalas, giraffes and elephants. Enjoy your en route game drive at Serengeti National Park which is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometers of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. Its far-reaching plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted shadows of acacia trees, have made it the quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. Its large stone kopjes are home to rich ecosystems, and the sheer magnitude and scale of life that the plains support is staggering. Full board accommodation included in the tour price. Day 4, 5 & 6

Serengeti

Full day of game viewing at Serengeti. Full board accommodation included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 7

Serengeti - Ngorongoro

Depart after your early morning breakfast with picnic lunch boxes for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The world-famous Ngorongoro Crater is nearly three million years old. The ancient caldera of the extinct volcano shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth, ringed with towering walls and sheltering forests, grasslands, fresh springs and a large soda lake. Full board accommodation included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 8

Ngorongoro – Arusha - Zanzibar

You will be transferred after your morning breakfast for Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar which departs at 1300 HRS to arrive Kisauni Airport Zanzibar at 1430 HRS. You will be met upon your arrival and transferred to your Zanzibar Hotel. Dinner and overnight at Ocean Paradise Resort or similar.

Day 9 - 12

Zanzibar

At leisure on the beach. Breakfast and dinner to be served at the hotel restaurant. Overnight at Ocean Paradise Resort.

Day 13

Kisauni Airport

You will be transferred to Kisauni Airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro/Dar es salaam to connect with your international flight back home.
