Kenya and Tanzania Exclusive is specifically designed for guests whom would like to step there foot in frequently visited parks and reserves in Kenya and Tanzania. This tour takes you up to Northern Kenya Samburu Game Reserve. The mix of wood and grassland with riverine forest and swamp home to a wide variety of animal and birdlife, Buffalo Springs records over 365 species of bird.

Itinerary

Day 1
Nairobi - Samburu
You will be met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Nairobi, city, capital of Kenya, in Nairobi District, situated at an elevation of about 1660 m (about 5450 ft) in the highlands of the southern part of the country. Nairobi is Kenya's principal economic, administrative, and cultural center and is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Africa. The city also has a large tourist industry. You will be met on arrival and transferred to Samburu National Reserve. Offers unique vistas of rounded, rugged hills and undulating plains. The mix of wood and grassland with riverine forest and swamp home to a wide variety of animal and birdlife, Buffalo Springs records over 365 species of bird. Game viewing and visibility is excellent: Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, elephant, oryx, Somali Ostrich, hippo, crocodile, gerenuk, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena. Arrive in tme for your hot lunch. Evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sentrim Luxury Camp.
Day 2
Samburu
Full day of game viewing at Samburu National Reserve with your private safari land cruiser and safari guide. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sentrim Luxury Camp.
Day 3
Samburu - Aberdares
Enjoy your early morning breakfast at Samburu National Reserve. Depart after your morning breakfast for Aberdares to arrive in time for your hot lunch at your hotel. Abounding with wildlife, unfettered by the more rigorous strictures of the Kenyan National Parks and designed to offer a charming blend of under canvas ambiance and uncompromising luxury, it has long been the preferred retreat of wilderness and safari lovers alike. One of only four private game reserves in Kenya, Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Outspan Hotel.
Day 4
Aberdares - Lake Naivasha
Depart after your morning breakfast for Naivasha Country Club. Located just beyond Lake Naivasha. Famous for its natural hot geysers, eagle and vulture breeding grounds, visitors have the choice of driving, walking, camping, cycling and rock climbing within the park. Horseback safaris can also be arranged. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Country Club.
Day 5
Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara
Depart with picnic lunch boxes after your morning breakfast and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. The Reserve is administered by the local county council. It is probably the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya. It offers breathtaking views (seen in the film ‘Out of Africa’, much of which was filmed here) an extraordinary density of animals including the “Big Five” and many varieties of plains game. Enjoy your en route game viewing at Masai Mara National Reserve. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Mara Keekorok Lodge.
Day 6
Masai Mara
Enjoy your early morning and late evening game drives at Masai Mara National Reserve with your private safari land cruiser and safari guide. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Mara Keekorok Lodge.
Day 7
Masai Mara - Serengeti
Depart after your early morning breakfast for Serengeti via the isebania/sirare border. This will include normal border crossing formalities to take only a few minutes. This is drive will take up to 8 hours through rough road. Serengeti National Park is probably the most famous and most visited reserve in Tanzania and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometers of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. Its far-reaching plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted shadows of acacia trees, have made it the quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. Its large stone kopjes are home to rich ecosystems, and the sheer magnitude and scale of life that the plains support is staggering. Enjoy your en route game drive at Serengeti plains. Day 8
Serengeti
Ask your guide to take you for a full day of game viewing at Serengeti plains. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight Ikoma Safari Camp.
Day 9
Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy your early morning game drive at Serengeti, transfer after your game for Ngorongoro via the Olduvai gorge where its believed the cradle of mankind were found. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main draw card for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. Within the crater rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Just outside the crater’s ridge, tall Masaai herd their cattle and goats over green pastures through the highland slopes, living alongside the wildlife as they have for centuries. Day 10
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Lake Manyara
Depart with your picnic lunch boxes and descend to the rim of the crater with your private guide and jeep for your half day of game viewing. Transfer after lunch to Lake Manyara National Park. Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views. Located on the way to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, Lake Manyara National Park is well worth a stop in its own right. Its ground water forests, bush plains, baobob strewn cliffs, and algae-streaked hot springs offer incredible ecological variety in a small area, rich in wildlife and incredible numbers of birds. Enjoy your evening game drive around the lake. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Twiga Lodge.
Day 11
Lake Manyara - Amboseli
Depart after your morning breakfast for Amboseli via Arusha where you will make a stop over for your hot lunch. Transfer after lunch for Amboseli National Park and this will include normal border crossing formalities at Namanga border. Amboseli National Park is famous for its big game - elephants, lions and cheetahs are the main attractions - and for its great scenery beauty. Amboseli embodies five main wildlife habitats, plus a generally dry lake-bed - Lake Amboseli. These are open plains; extensive stands of yellow-barked acacia woodland; rocky, lava strewn thorn-bush country; swamps and marshes; and at the western end of the reserve, above Namanga, the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok rising to over 2,760m (8.300ft) and still for the most part zoologically unexplored. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Kibo Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 12
Amboseli - Nairobi
Enjoy your morning game drive at Amboseli National Park. Depart mid morning for Nairobi to arrive by 1600 HRS. Dinner at leisure not included in the tour price. Overnight at Kenya Comfort Hotel.
Day 13
Nairobi
Transfer very early in the morning for Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight back home departing at 04:30 AM.
